A NEW MOVIE IS IN THE MAKING

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to come to our site and see what this project is all about.

WHY ZULU 4zero as the name? Well in police language a Zulu officer is a detective for the purpose of radio chatter, 4zero is the collar number, or police ID of DS Conley Dryden. So, there you have it, when calling DS Dryden, the control room would call her by her unit ID (ZULU=Detective) and her collar number or warrant number 40 (4ZERO)

This short film was written by George Heron as part of a project that is being worked on by a group of amateur actors who meet up every Thursday evening at the Little Theatre Cleadon in North East England.

The group are in their 1st year of being together and after being tasked to write a monologue or short script it became and group ambition to put at least one of the scripts to film to see how it came out.

ZULU4zero initially started life as a 4 page short lasting only a few minutes but with some thought, team work and a lot of typing, it quickly became a 30minute short film script.

then came the decision to enter the TEES VALLEY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2023 so work has begun in turning a great script into a gripping tale of murder.

Keep with us and we will bring you updates on a day to day or weekly basis and show you how exciting making movies is.
